This filter pit is designed for approximately 40 or 75 cubic meters of (swimming) pond water. It’s essential to note that this is not a biological filter. For ponds with fish, an additional biological filter is recommended. In the case of swimming ponds, this filter pit seamlessly integrates with plant and/or lava (substrate) filters. The pit can be utilized both “downstream” or “upstream” (after or before the plant/lava filter) and is suitable for complete burial in the ground, with the inlet below the water level.
