FerroSorp® Plus / SP – High-Performance Filter Media for Phosphate Removal

FerroSorp® Plus / SP are reliable, granulated filter media based on iron hydroxide, specifically designed for the efficient removal of phosphates from aqueous solutions. These high-performance adsorbents are particularly effective in natural swimming ponds, where they help reduce phosphate levels, thereby minimizing algae growth. Phosphate is a primary contributor to nutrient-rich environments that promote algae, and FerroSorp® Plus / SP effectively binds and removes it from water.

These products are ideal for use in filter systems, either as an addition to existing setups or to recharge phosphate filters. Their use ensures clear, healthy water and contributes to the overall ecological balance of natural swimming ponds.

The high adsorption capacities of FerroSorp® Plus / SP are achieved under optimal conditions, ensuring effective phosphate removal. However, the presence of competing ions may reduce the adsorbent’s performance.
